Return of the Dragon (also known as Gui Long Chao) is a 2D action RPG which transports you to a world of urban fantasy inhabited by incredible monsters from Chinese culture. Throughout your adventure, as is common in games of this type, you can recruit a host of characters to join your group of heroes to put an end to the threat that is endangering the stability of this world.

To play Return of the Dragon, you need to have a user profile. There are two ways to sign up: using a phone number or with a TapTap account. Neither option has an advantage over the other, so you can simply register following the method that best suits you. It is important to note, however, that to play through a TapTap account you just need to provide an email address (no need for a phone number).

Precise and well-adapted controls

The Return of the Dragon controls are very intuitive and anyone who has ever played an Android action game will instantly know how to perform all the required actions. On the left side of the screen you have the virtual movement stick and on the right side you have the action buttons. You can perform normal attacks and special attacks, as well as jump and dodge. To the right of the screen you also have the buttons to quickly switch between characters.

Dozens of heroes to recruit

Although you will spend a lot of time fighting in Return of the Dragon, one of the most fun things about the game is its gacha system. At the beginning you will only have a couple of heroes at your disposal, but as you defeat enemies and obtain talismans, you can summon more heroes to join your party. There are more than thirty different characters in total, each of them spectacularly designed with their own unique attacks and special moves.

Action game, platformer and RPG all in one

Something that sets Return of the Dragon apart from other similar titles, like HoYoverse games, is its perfect combination of genres. Lots of action RPGs incorporate typical sandbox elements like exploration or crafting. But in Return of the Dragon, in addition to exploration, you will find characteristics that are much more typical of platformers. And, as if that weren't enough, all this is combined with some relatively relaxed action where you face off against giant monsters.
